    Policies and Procedures


    Please read and understand all policies and procedures before registering for the next session.

    REGISTRATION:

    Upon registration, we require a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of $50.00 per child to reserve and hold his or her spot in our School’s schedule. The balance is due by post-dated cheque or cash payable on the designated date to be determined by Mobile Aquatics Swim School. (If you pay by cheques you must hand in the deposit and the post-dated cheque for the remainder balance to hold your spot)
    Any unpaid balance after the designated date will be subject to a late-payment fee of $10.00 per child.

    All classes and product sales are subject to HST (unless noted otherwise)
    All registration must be done by e-mail, mail or in person. A completed form, together with payment is necessary for registration.

    If you pull out of a session and then change your mind you will not be guaranteed the same spot when you re-register.
    Signing up for one session does not guarantee you a spot in subsequent sessions – first come first serve basis. SIGNING UP FOR ALL SESSIONS EARLY IS THE ONLY WAY TO GUARANTEE YOUR SPOT(S) FOR THE YEAR.
    Many Mobile Aquatics families now register for Fall, Winter and Spring Sessions as soon as our registration information for the next year is available. Registration for all sessions, WHILE AVAILABILITY STILL EXISTS, together with full payment for Fall and deposits for Winter and Spring (with the balance of payments post-dated) WILL GUARANTEE YOUR SPOT(S) FOR THE WHOLE YEAR.


    Application Process:

    a) Download and complete all portions of the Mobile Aquatics Registration form indicating a first and second choice of class times (eg. Sunday 10:15 am and 10:50 am) for each session for which you are registering, any teacher or classmate requests (which can never be guaranteed); and,

    b) Families may (TO ENSURE SPOTS) REGISTER FOR FALL, WINTER AND/OR SPRING SESSIONS AT THE SAME TIME. IF REGISTERING FOR MORE THAN ONE SESSION, full payment may be made for all sessions at the time of registration or must be made by post dated cheques for each session.

    c) Along with a $50 deposit fee for each session (deposit fee will be deducted from the total cost of each session).
    Post dated Cheque DUE DATES:    
    Winter session – December 31st
    Spring session – March 15th
    Summer Session – June 30th
    Fall session – August 31st    

    PROGRAM CANCELATION / WITHDRAWL:
    Mobile Aquatics recognizes that plans can change and that a participant may need to withdrawn from the program. Written notice must be given in order to be removed from the session. An administrative fee of $25 will added to all cancelations. A credit note can be issued for a session that has not yet begun up till the third class.

    CLASSES
    -Age 2-4 (up to SK2) 2:1 Ratio
    -SK 1 – 7 (3:1 ratio) 30 min class
    -60 min classes (SK 7-8)  4:1 ratio
    -A 45 and 60 minute class lengths (SK 3-7)  optional – can be arranged  (dependent on availability)
    -We reserve the right to alter scheduled times

    MAKE-UP CLASSES
    All make-up classes must be made within the session, and are non-transferable to the next term. Make-ups have no refundable monetary value. These make-up sessions may not necessarily be assigned to the original swimming instructor. A maximum of 2 make-ups is allowed per session, subject to availability. A scheduled make-up for which you cannot be present is deemed to be a make-up taken. Make-up dates will be set after the first week of classes.
    If you know your child will be away for a class, please let us know via e-mail, we appreciate that courtesy.

    If your child is registered for a session but misses the start date, the session fee will not be prorated. It will be prorated only if you sign up after the session’s beginning.
    CLASS CHANGES

    If you need to change your child/children’s class time during the session, there is no guarantee that a requested change can be accommodated.

    REQUESTING TEACHERS:
    Teachers are not guaranteed, we cannot honour all request due to staffing schedule changes. We will not be answering email or calls to request or demands as we are not sure of placements of children until the day classes begin.

    YOUR PERSONAL BELONGINGS:
    We are not responsible for lost or stolen articles in our facilities or parking lots.

    NSF CHEQUES - An administrative charge of $35.00 is payable for any NSF cheque.  


    Sibling Discount - $15 off each child when one or more sibling is registered in the same session
    School Discount – 5% off all children who are currently enrolled at Allenby Public School
    All children aged 3 and under must wear an approved elasticized legged swim diaper, such as "Swim Nappy"

    All participants must use the gender appropriate change room, or use the family change room.
    Absolutely no street shoes/ boots are permitted on deck.
